Totally predictable at times but that didnt matter as the main character was so likeable that you wanted things to work out for her! Cat was a nice honest person and that made her real.

The Ducasses slowly begin to warm up to Cat as she helps them with their flagging perfume business. To me she reminds me of a younger Jackie Collins and her books certainly do not disappoint with the glitz and glamour not hwaven a little bit of love interest!!
The beautiful descriptions of southern France made me close my eyes and imagine that I was there and heeaven and smelling the beautiful flowers growing around the homes. However the setting of the South of France for Heaven Scent is brilliant, and with each new France-centered novel I read, I am appreciating the country a tad bit more.

I liked all of the main characters in the book, except for Olivier, which is surprising. Hi Dot, This is an author that is new to me, but I love the sound of this one and the cover art is great. The background on why he’s so anti-commitment was rather pathetic considering he’s meant to be a strong macho intelligent type. Just a whole lotta cliches!
